Honestly Crazy

Do you think they overacted? No, that's what they actually are - energetic, impulsive, hazardous, daring and still - darLing and loving and ravishing with sincerity of every single mad thing they did towards my lens. A rare occurrence of having any boundaries and limits got rid of which in fact is a happiness of the notorios and all of the times unallowable freedom. Love them :-)

Really fun couple Arthur, and that's what it's all about. Are you going to make it to Vegas for WPPI?

Hey, Rob!
You're pouring vinegar into my wounds. I didn't go to Arizona, I won't go to Vegas. Circumstances... you know
Next year maybe,
thanks for the comment anyways..

Hi Arthur,

I love your B+W images, too. Very dramatic even though some places seem just any ordinary places we can find. I noticed in one shot there was an off-camera flash set-up. Would you mind sharing what off-camera techniques, flash and modifier (soft box) you use during this shoot? Thanks. Awesome work!

Chris, none of any secrets here.
It's SB-800 attached on Manfrotto stand with Lumiquest soft-box mounted on; power adjusted manually with another SB-800 mounted on Nikon D700. The distance between models and the off-flash is as considerable as I don't have to bother whether they step a feet back or forward to it - they WILL get enough lighting from that supplimentary source of light. Why do I need this additional light on the whole? When it's cloudy and you are at an open site - it's a good way to easily create a modelling source of light, as if there were sun beams leaking through grey skies.
