Latest Workshop Pictures

Well, this time I hit the trail to Middle Russia - Ekaterinburg started with a very big sirprise. We took off in Moscow in depth of spring and landed in a fairy-tale winter. That's right, a classic cartoon snow-shower, snow banks, blizzard would be the limit.
The weird thing was that three hours before our arrival it was absolutely fine and comfy - 20 degree and a slight breeze. They blamed us for bringing that winter, but how could we? :-)

Интересное дело. За день до прилета (как нам сказали) была отличная погода. Но за три часа до приземления нашего самолета намело сугробы, и резко вернулась зима. Это еще не все. Пять дней, которые мы (я, Сергей Новожилов и Артур Инамов - видеограф) пробыли в Екатеринберге, держалась такая же зима. Но как только мы уехали - венса вернулась.
Какие из э того делать выводы - ума не приложу :)

Bridal Parade V in Moscow - Indian Summer Experience.

Yes, I do! I love this girlish get-togethers, especially with regard to the fact that a week or two before Parade the weather keeps bad and straight on the day X it grows clear warm and comfy, and that is one of pretty weird things around the event. Another way strange thing - HOW come those unprofessional models (just next door girls) pose so much hang-loose and uncorseted (what a fitly spoken word! lol) as a rare pro does.
This time it's Indian summer also starring. A little bit "electronically improved" but let's take it as a make-up for a nature ;-) These fairy-tale bogs layered with mud strewed with gilded oak, alder and maple dead leafs scintillating in sun beams leaking through 'tired' Autumn heaven do decidedly need a correction... self-deprecating humor this was ;-) Forget it.
Ok, Ladies and Gentlemen, please, welcome the Fifth Bride Parade in Moscow and its valiant stars who was unhesitatingly ready to shine irrespective of weather conditions!

А вернее в Подольске прошел в сентябре 2008-го года. Все как обычно - погода по счастью не подвела, девушки отважно позировали (иногда это бывает не так просто), золотая осень "развернулась" во всей красе. Иногда она вырывалась на первый план, но изысканные работы стилистов, и конечно, сами девчонки затмевали изяществом все вокруг. Как всегда, спасибо Кате Алёшинской за шикарную идею, помогающую фотографам развиваться в своем творчестве. Больше фото можно увидеть тут.

Black Swan Workshop in Moscow on 04 Nov'08

I'm sometimes asked: could this ever be a wedding shoot? Well, let's sort things out then. Is this a fashion-style session? Yes. Do brides ever ware black gowns and veils? Once in a while - yes. Would they ever like to look a tad moody rather than "stomatologist pride" happy? Oh, yes! Then answer to the first question is: yes, this is another kind of wedding photography. The directed and artistic part of it, and perhaps (I hope) the most interesting set of pictures when it comes to direction style of photography. Tastes differ.

Ok. It was cold cloudy day and though Moscow Citi Center wasn't pretty much welcoming we broke the rules (well, the most insignificant points of them lol) and set up the "show". One curious thing I just want to mention - the second workshop in Autumn series it was and the second time there was a goddamned nationalists' "get-together" around the location (same thing happened in Kiev). Does anyone know how to make them get back off, away from my workshops? I should conceal the schedule probably LOL

Семинар и мастер-класс прошел в Москве 4-го ноября в рамках Второго форума свадебных фотографов и видеографов.

Башню Федераций уговорить так и не удалось, хотя были большие надежды, однако и пусть - мост Багратион не менее достойная замена. Речь кстати шла о свадбеной фотографии, и тут возникает вопрос: это свадебная съемка?

Разберемся по порядку. Это ли не стиль фэшн? Он. Бывают ли невесты в черных платьях? Некоторые любят эксперименты. Может ли на свадебном фото вместо вместо улыбок до ушей появляться задумчивые взгляды? Да. Тогда - чем не свадебное фото? Вопрос лишь в том, насколько мы хотим реализовывать то, что исходит изнутри, а не навязано порицающими окликами узкомыслящих прохожих.

Спасибо всем, кто посетил семинар. На этот раз он был сжатым, но организаторы сразу предупредили, что развернуто не получится. Поэтому, скажу сразу, полный, возможно, двухдневный семинар планируется, но даты пока определяются. Следите за анонсами на MyWed.
